This is a spectacular piece of Dogon Indigo. It is made of hand-spun cotton that is woven into strips and sewn together by hand. The cloth is then tied and dyed with natural Indigo.
We source these pieces directly from the artist in Mali. Her name is Binta, and she lives in the Dogon country.
It makes a beautiful wall piece or throw. Can also be used for garments, as a shawl or scarf.
